BBTM Integrated Global Resources Limted is committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment for its employees, visitors, contractors and integrating that commitment into our everyday activities. To realize this commitment, we will ensure that all risks associated with health, safety, environment and social issues arising from activities related to its operations are systemically planned, controlled and reviewed. BBTM is committed to meeting all applicable legal/ regulatory and other requirements, satisfying its identified stakeholders and ensuring continual improvement of its HSE-MS.

This implies that BBTML shall:

  • Manage movement of equipment/materials and personnel in all its operations.
  • Strive to preserve and control pollution of the ecosystem in which it operates.
  • Identify training needs and ensure adequate training of workers.
  • Ensure operations are compliant with applicable legislation.
  • Adequately maintain its operational tools and equipment to the best of its liability in conformance with industry standards, in order to ensure health and safety of personnel, equipment, host community and conservation of the environment.
  • Subscribe to applicable local and international HSE standards.
  • Require all contractors/sub-contractors to work within BBTM HSE-MS Framework.

Everyone is obligated to know the safety standards for their area or job, and just as important to abide by them. Managers, HOD, Supervisors, and Team Leaders must promote a positive attitude and safety awareness in their workers through personal adherence, personal contact, training and regularly scheduled safety meetings etc.

It is the duty of all employees to perform their work with maximum regards for the safety grounds for disciplinary action HSE performance and contribution shall be used as a tool to evaluate the performance of every staff.

To ensure this policy continues to meet our needs, BBTML shall ensure that policies are reviewed at regular intervals.
